Flag Status Alert: United States Flag and Maryland Flag Are at Half-Staff
As a mark of solemn respect for the victims of the terrible act of violence perpetrated in Thousand Oaks, California, on November 7, 2018, President Donald Trump ordered that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff effective IMMEDIATELY until sunset, Saturday, November 10, 2018. As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag is lowered to half-staff. No flag may fly higher than the United States flag.

Seems the flag is at half staff all the time these days
My opinion?
There's too much of this flag lowering lately.
I think it weakens and diminishes the reason to bestow such an honor.
I feel the same way about the word "hero". EVERYBODY is a hero these days - and in some cases called a hero for just doing "the right thing to do" at that moment.

DemocRATS gun free zones are causing this.
Will they lower it for the guy who was killed the other day because of the law Hogan signed? The red flag law?
