A Viewer Writes: Knowing Basic Law

In Worcestor County the winning Democrat commissioner Joshua Nordstrom took a picture of himself and his ballot in the polling booth then put it up on his campaign Facebook. You would think a Commissioner know the basic law of electronic devices are ILLEGAL inside the polling booth and it is sure as hell illegal to photograph your ballot. More importantly who was the polling place operator that took or allowed this photo? Certain people slash democrats think they are above the law too much.

He took a photo of himself voting. Get over it. You really hate this guy for no reason. He and his family are the best people I've ever met. Pull that stick out of you know where and move on. His second day as commissioner and you're already complaining.

Illegal is illegal, no one should be above the law, period!

9:55 - Does making him a good person let him violate laws??? I do not even know him but a law is a law regardless.

Why don't we all do this the next time and hold the lines up!

10:34- Maybe he didn't know. I don't know, but blasting this is pointless. No one said anyone is above the law, so stop that inference right now! A good person will break the law when they drive faster than the speed limit, roll a stop sign, don't use indicator, etc. Which we have all done! The only difference is no one is trolling us online when we brake a law. It's no worse. If you trolls want to take that stance that you are a better citizen than Josh, you will fail. This whole post is pathetic, and this is coming from a Republican.

He wasn't a commissioner when he voted now was he? Are you stalking him or something?

11:02- You are obviously not a voter in Worcester County. I've never waited in line to vote for over 20 years. It's always been, walk in, walk out, two to five minutes.

Nothing will come of it other than a weak caution not to do it again.

It is not illegal.

Signs as soon as you walk in the door show electronic devices are not permitted.

Signs are posted at all polling places. No electronic devices, and turn off cell phones. Another small violation that moves us away from being a nation of laws. Laws on the books need to be enforced. Since he was stupid enough to post it on line seems like we have evidence he broke the law. Where is the district attorney or chief election official. They have a job to do -enforce the law.

Electronic devices at the polling places are illegal in MD. Use Google before you spew.

What worries me is that he is making decisions like that...what is he going to do to our community. His job is listed as "Candidate" on his form to run for commissioner...what has he been doing til now? Just because he comes from a good family doesn't make him smart, above the law or even qualified for the job. I hope he doesn't make our community as lazy as I think he is by making the workers pay to keep them....just saying!
