The whole range of actions we saw here, at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings, bullying the spineless Senator Flake, verbally assaulting and accosting diners, and in the attack on the congressional baseball practice should be specifically targeted by Federal law to ensure that disrupters and protesters don't interrupt the Peoples' Business or their personal lives.
Citizens have the right to petition the government, which is important to maintain and secure. But all citizens jointly have the right to have the legislative wheels continue to turn.
The baseball assassin wasn't shooting at his representative, and chances are the potheads assaulting Rep. Harris and his staff were not actually his constituents.
Hope and pray the Congress can take steps to ensure their safety, and to really punish those who get out of line with arrest, high bail, trials with genuine prison time and without plea deals, and a kind of no-fly list for government offices.
Our political discourse has often been rough, untidy and impassioned. Let that continue but without trampling the right others have to their opinions and lives undisturbed.

Both Michael Brown of Ferguson and reason for the riots and Trayvon Martin the thug who stalked George Zimmerman, jump him and was pounding Zimmerman's head into the pavement before getting a well deserved fatal bullet tested positive for marijuana. Brown tried to assault the officer while he was in his car and take his gun. So anyone who says pot smokers are mellow are ignorant to facts and/or lying about the effects on many.
