Nancy Pelosi Leads Democrats in Slamming Faith-Based Adoption as a 'License to Discriminate'

Democrats Put LGBT Activism Before Kids, Attacking Religious Freedom Aderholt Amendment as a ‘License to Discriminate’ Despite Adoption Agencies Like Catholic Charities Being Forced to Shut Down

On Tuesday, Republicans in the House of Representatives passed the Aderholt Amendment, a provision introduced by Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Ala.) protecting adoption agencies from state or local discrimination on the basis of their religious beliefs. Democrats have railed against this amendment, calling it a "license to discriminate" against LGBT people.

LGBT activists have pushed laws to outlaw "discrimination" in such agencies, many of which have a religious dedication to uphold marriage as between one man and one woman. These laws force such agencies to decide between violating their religious beliefs by placing children with same-sex couples and closing down. Many have been forced to close their doors, making children suffer from LGBT activism.

Even so, Democrats railed against Republicans, suggesting that allowing a diverse array of adoption agencies to abide by their own beliefs would somehow harm children.

Nancy should probably start going to church considering her age and drinking problems.

What we need is MORE discrimination.
Against weird, strange, abnormal, deviant, perverted, and just plain whack.

Some things are WRONG, and I don't give a F about which famous Hollywood star tells us differently or which talking head tells us how great/admirable the strange and deviant are....

Nature provided for the family to be raised by a man and a woman...that's not just religion and science - but nature too!

An intact family unit raises better kids!

If religious adoption services are not receiving tax funding, I see no issue with them being able to call the shot.

Once they receive tax dollars, they can not discriminate on religious grounds.

The facts are that children do better when raised by 2 parent families than they do by single parent, or by the foster system.

There is no credible data that suggests that children suffer for any reason by being raised by gay parents.

Children are actually more likely to be abused or neglected by "straight" married parents.

What children most need is love and nurturing... and to deny children that because your holy book says gays are yucky is abominable.

As of yet, I have not heard a single, credible, dependable reason or opinion against gays or gay marriage other than "my holy book says so" and that is not a reason. It may be a reason for YOU not to get gay married... but that's where it ends.

Homosexuality is found in small percentages through out the animal kingdom, and has been found in almost every human society ever. This would disqualify it as not normal, or abnormal.

If you want to claim it to be weird, or deviant, or perverted then you must justify that. To say their "bedroom" activities fall under those monikers, then you must explain why heterosexuals practice the same activities and why they are or aren't described as the same.

Either way, denying love or care to children because the potential care givers are gay is just cruel.

You seem to be a bit sensitive.
