It's time to move those ponds underground to remove the habitat created to feed and propagate more and more geese. Remove the breeding grounds and there will be no need to kill them.
Invasive species... lol! Canadians crapping everywhere. City parks, docks, river walks, golf courses, back yards... They used to fly home to nest and raise their young 40 years ago.
The geese were there long before Ocean Pines was built on wetlands. July 2, 2018 at 2:24 PM:
You don't know much about "resident" Canada geese, do you? THOSE geese were not there when it was still a "wetlands." Try educating yourself on the subject of resident geese, where they come from, and the damage they cause, before you give an uninformed opinion. The resident geese were BORN THERE in Ocean Pines, and did not fly in from anywhere. And they never fly back to Canada. Don't be ignorant with your opinion.
I wouldn't have much of a problem with it if I knew the geese were harvested and made it to some kitchen tables. I'm sure they were taken to the landfill.

I'll lend them my 2 retrievers. They will chase them all day until they all leave.

What does "removal" mean? They're going to send them to Canada?

The articles stated that they were given to the Maryland Food Bank, I am sure they are going to end up in someone's kitchen, I just wonder whose?
