Sales for Mariah Carey's Vegas shows are 'a disaster'

Mariah Carey might want to sell some more jewelry if fans don’t start buying tickets to her “Butterfly Returns” shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Seats are still available for the July 5 opening night of her three-month residency. “It’s a disaster,” one insider told me. “Scalpers bought a bunch of the tix and are freaking out.”

Carey fired her fiercely protective manager Stella Bulochnikov in November and hasn’t performed since Christmas.

Bulochnikov was going to book her at a smaller venue in Vegas “so they could keep announcing sold-out shows,” my source said.

“Instead, they put her back in Caesars with 4,300 seats.”

She is another highly overrated celebrity without real talent.

She is the current Milli Vanilli, except they digitize her vocals. Who would pay 150+ for recorded tracks?

@5:33 you must have not paid attention to all the songs she has written. A woman of this caliber is to be celebrated darling. She's had more #1's than Elvis Presley and sold more albums then any other female artist. You must live under a rock. She outshines Celine, Whitney, Beyonce, and other female recording stars. She don't even need to prove anything cause she's already broken all the pop star records.

Well...she obviously isn’t as great as you say she is. She can’t even sell tickets to her shows. Even Carrott Top sells out shows in Vegas. Think about that for a minute.

Butterball Returns?

Back in the day, she was the bomb, all that and a bag of chips.

And now she can't fill 4,300 seats?!

If that's the case, I hope she has saved some of those boatloads of money she made when she was younger.

Fifty years from now, she'll just be a short footnote in musical history.

She is washed up. Sorry it is what it is. She got screwed when she got involved with Nick Cannon. I had the misfortune of seeing about three minutes of his new show. It sucks he has fallen from grace. Bunch of people trying to rap and they suck. Apparently every show is the same crap over and over I do not get how kids watch that garbage.
