Terry Scott Went to let the school board no what happened they called the head resource officer who upon arrival started going off on me. I went to the school board to let them know of this scam so other parents would be aware. He was more concerned with what o told the deputy yesterday. This guy was a real asshole. The school board did say the would let parents know. As for the seargent... I just wanted to let other parents know. He has no buisness talking to people the way he did. Again I did not ask for him

Parkside was very concerned and told me today they would inform parents. As for the head resource officer who told me in his anger that the FBI was not involved WRONG! THEY HAVE THE REPORT ASSHOLE AND THEY ARE INVESTIGATING IT. IF ANYONE GETS A KIDNAP CALL ABOUT THEIR CHILD CALL THE FBI DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH OTHER AGENCIES. THIS SERGEANT THIS MORNING FROM WICOMICO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WAS A REAL ASS. PUBLIC SERVANT??? I DID NOTHING WRONG TODAY HE DID. JE QAS BY FAR ONE OF THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICER I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME!

Expresses himself very well in writing and was probably just as eloquent in person.
The resource officer should kidnap this guy and hold him in Grammer and Spelling class.

Shame on you all. I do not know Terry but Yes Terry has misused and misspelled words, but if it were you who received a phone call concerning your child's kidnapping and roughing up, what would you do? IMO Terry did exactly right by contacting his son first. He contacted authorities and he wrote SBYNews to let others know of the scam. Even though he and we believe it to be a scam, can you say how you brain would be working - knowing your son was safely at Parkside for the moment but the scammers also told you where your child went to school, what kind of vehicle he drove, etc. Would there not be a degree of fear until your child was safely home. Even though most of us have heard about these "kidnapping" scams anyone with a brain still has a fear when it comes to our children - fear can take over common sense.
You fools get on here and mock a man who is scared - a man trying to get news of the scam out to others. If Terry's posting saves even one parent from paying a "ransom" his effort is well worth the price of having yahoos like yourselves bully him over the two posting he wrote. Mistakes in spelling and English did NOT change the point of Terry's two postings

The subject doesn't matter, the fact they know nothing about the subject does not matter - their only joy in life is bullying by making vicious comments against anybody or anything.. Terry is telling the public about his experience as he sees it and these fools can't see the forest for the trees. The Wicomico county sheriff's office is totally unprofessional and disorganized.I am personally very close to someone that worked and the things I have been told are unbelievable for a police organization. When calls come in they sit around and joke about it,sometimes for 20 minutes or more befor someone responds to the call.The sheriff's office is a total joke and the responsiblity falls directly on the sheriff.
The Sheriff and most of his officers are very unprofessional.I agree with 9:42 I also know someone who recently worked there and told me the same thing. As a matter fact that was the reason they left.
AWWW you "heard" it from someone, so its gotta be true. I expect the Sheriff's Dept has dealt enough with the public to separate serious situations from the lunatics of the community. The stress LEO works under, have earned them a few laughs or jokes during a day. Maybe you could volunteer to take phone calls for a day and then come back on here and tell us how PROFESSIONAL our LEO really is.

Dont know Terry Scott, but there is a way to get point across. Iam willing to bet he was acting like an ASS himself to have the SRO called in for his actions.
Several officers around here need to get off their tough guy attitude. And others their holier than thou attitude. A uniform and a gun does not make you a man or any better than anyone else in this area. They text while driving, they go over the speed limit, run stop signs and have seen some who turn on their lights to go through a stop light and when they get up the road, they turn them off. Yes, WE are watching you. Today saw a Salisbury officer speeding with those radar units on his trunk. He turned off onto North Park drive going toward North Schumaker Dr. This was around 10:00 am. They need to obey the same laws they enforce. Make an example of your selves. Damn.
