Trimper's Haunted House - Ocean City, MD

BREAKING: Aladdin has left the building. After over 40 years as a staple of Trimper's Rides, the Aladdin's Lamp funhouse (Salem Aleikum) has been permanently retired. Installed around 1975, the Arabian Nights-themed funhouse, complete with a genie who bowed his head from his seat atop the ride's entrance, offered a variety of dark corridors, floor obstacles, a maze, and illusions that made anyone proceed with caution and a sense of intrigue. Another one for the memory book, folks. --Bran

That’s a shame. Little by little pieces of good memories and childhood are being lost or discarded.

So sad.. one of my favorites.

Oh well, c'est la vis.

The only thing that is constant is change. While this is one of my favorites from my youth... there is a new and different something that is becoming the memories of someone else's youth... time moves on, the circle remains unbroken.
