That's what happens when one doesn't look ahead to the whole picture.

The sad thing is the only people we're hurting are the people that make their living off serving customers at these establishment

But when the beer stays on the truck, and backs up at the warehouse, sponsors will be calling for Goodell's head.
And when the bars drop subscription packages from cable and satellite the message will be sent.
And concession revenues at the stadiums.
And jerseys and other licensed materials languish.
And so on. It will take some time.
Solution, if I'm NFL owner. Fire Goodell for allowing this to take hold and fester. Hire Condi Rice. Tell players to stand respectfully or tryout for a team in Canada.
