KRISH VIGNARAJAH ENTERS RACE FOR GOVERNOR OF MARYLAND

Former top aide to Michelle Obama brings fresh voice, new ideas to Governor’s race

Krish Vignarajah, a former Obama official, is entering the race for governor of Maryland today. An official campaign kick-off and announcement is scheduled for September 19, 2017.

About her decision, Vignarajah said:

“I am running for Governor because I am worried my daughter will not have the same opportunities that my mom gave me when she brought our family here when I was a baby girl. I hope Marylanders will agree the best man for the job is a woman.”

“It was not long ago that Maryland was a beacon of hope, opportunity, innovation, and courage. We led the nation in school performance, job creation, and conservation. But today too many of the students who can least afford to be left behind have been forgotten altogether. Too many workers have been left out. And our precious Chesapeake Bay faces its greatest risks in decades. A deficit in leadership from the Governor could not come at a worse time.”

“I am running for Governor because Maryland must lead again. As Governor, I will focus on what matters most—improving schools, increasing wages, reducing crime, treating drug addiction, alleviating traffic, investing in infrastructure, and protecting our sacred environment. To accomplish all this, we need a new generation of leadership that will make progress at home, while standing up to a White House that threatens the very values that unite and define us.”

Democrat Governors are what got Maryland into the mess it's in today?

NO THANK YOU

It's doubtful that anyone can bring Maryland back after O'Malley as Governor and the Miller/Busch duo many years in office there.

When I saw the name, I thought heck no. When I read she was associated with the last disastrous outfit, I thought he-l no.

"I hope Marylanders will agree the best man for the job is a woman.”

Totally sexist. If her male opponent said "the best man for the job is a man".. the press would go berserk.

Gender has NOTHING to do with this. It's about qualifications, ability and attitude, right?

Right??

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse...

No way.

No experience. I hardly count working for Michelle Obama as experience and certainly not a valuable one. They don't even bother to tell us where she's actually from, not that it matters. However, anything you hide I want to know why.

Former Policy Director for Michelle Obama. But now she claims "'She wants to Stand Up against those in the White House" ? Really? Sorry chick, but citizens of Maryland don't need governor like that. After 8 years of OweMalley and Obama, We the People had have enough.

Hogan is the best thing to happen to Maryland in DECADES! Even though I am a fairly conservative republican, I still can't see how democrats can say that he hasn't performed well for ALL Marylanders as a whole. Hogan is the definition of bipartisan-ism. Anybody that thinks that somebody else could do better at this point is simply an idiot, but then again, democrats haven't proven themselves to be all that intelligent to begin with...

Oh No, just in, there is an article about this woman Voting Multiple Times in Washington D.C. What?! Do we have another Democrat like Wendy Rosen on our hands? The one she "couldnt remember" voting in MD and FL. Hanging out with Obamas will certainly teach soneone shady tricks.

Hogan is doing a fine job

That was one of my first thoughts. Where in Md. does she live? And for how long. Is she just another carpetbagger?

Well Joe, seems we've hit a new low in the State. Not only are the candidates 'sketchy' now they're immigrants that do not stand for traditional Maryland values from Colonial Times till the present. Maryland has always been a cultural icon and Annapolis was once the capitol of the Country. NONE of that is hitting home with the electorate as now we are not GOVERNED but RULED by Lawyers with dark intentions and a penchant to fill their own pockets and fuel their own agendas.

I'm sick of it and sometimes I think it appropriate for God to send a pestilence to cleanse these lesser agents of humanity from the Earth and it starting in Annapolis. They're rotten and spiteful of any type of change for the better of the people is put down.

I don't know where this will all end but that would be a step in the RIGHT DIRECTION.

I guess you would have to define "top aide". Was she picking out Moochelle's outfit for the day?

We don't need "The Mindy Project" in the governors mansion.

Governor Hogan is NOT a true conservative and occasionally a RINO - but much better than any dumbocrat!

New ideas?
WHAT "new ideas"???

"Improve schools"......treat drug addiction.....reducing crime....and the best one?
Alleviating traffic.
She forgot the mainstay of ALL liberals and democratic girly-boys ---- raise your taxes.
Her new ideas come with big prices and she, like all of her friends, thinks that if they only threw more of OUR money at the latest scam they are pushing, everything will be just GREAT!
I swear, I think they have a script they read from (and get all their "new ideas".
They better start listening to America or they will continue to lose every election. Trying to put a new face on "muslims are peaceful, deviant and weird is NOT strange, America is bad, and we need to pay MORE in welfare, grants, and programs, especially for those who are on the lamb from the police, isn't going to convince America of anything except your total disdain for them. And your stunning stupidity. Lastly, give us your money.
There, my friends, is the democratic platform. It is ONLY your racist, bigoted, homophobic, misogynist, Christian, redneck, gun loving, uneducated views and efforts that stop them from creating a Utopia of free everything.
They absolutely KNOW whats best for you and me (and it's hardly ever the same as what's best FOR THEM).
Get off your knees.
Keep cheering!

We hear the same lines from Dems e er election cycle, but what we get is more debt, more watered down education and more entitlements to those who really aren't entitled.

I'd like to know when she became a citizen...

You people always assume theres no way a brown person can be a real American.

The woman voted in the DC election district in the last election. She cannot run for Maryland's Governor because she has disqualified herself.

Here is yet another classic example of election violation.
