I remember when they shut down the VoTech center in Wicomico County. Fast forward to today and I have a 'premium' membership in a home service contract and the last time I needed a plumber I still had to wait 3 days.
Not enough blue collar workers. I'm not sure I even know where they go to learn.

VoTech is at Parkside now. With all the rules and regulations now days it is no wonder no one wants to do these types of jobs. We won't even factor in the fact they will actually have to work in hot and cold weather.

We still have the DIY channel. This Old House. HGTV to a lesser extent and PBS. Of course there are a disproortinate number of shows that bring in token homosexuals. I am waiting for a Tranny DIY program to emerge so i can not watch that too.
