At least Delaware has sense enough to get the kids out.
Except one of the calls was about a person on the roof w/a gun and they evacuated from what I read. Not so sure that's using good sense.
"Update on the situation on Long Neck Elementary School. Delaware State Police Master Cpl. Gary Fournier says the school received a threat from a male who stated he was armed and on the roof and was threatening to do harm to students and facility. Fournier says the school was evacuated and a search of the school turned up nothing. He says the all-clear has been given and students will be returning to the school."
From WBOC and knowing them they've screwed this up because who evacuates a school with a threat of an armed man on the roof. This is a lockdown situation.
