Each state has its iconic landmarks, but there are plenty of attractions that fly under the radar.
New York has the Empire State Building, but it's also home to Letchworth State Park, unofficially known as the "Grand Canyon of the East."

We just visited Letchworth State Park two weeks ago and it is a beautiful place I'd definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to the western New York area.
I also visited Letchworth and saw the "Grand Canyon of the East". Big deal. It was not worth the time.
Kent Island?? Really?
