Governor Larry Hogan Announces Two Appointees to Maryland House of Delegates

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today announced the appointment of two new delegates to the Maryland General Assembly. The governor appointed the individuals to fill vacancies in the House of Delegates after receiving recommendations from the Democratic Central Committees in the two respective counties.

“Both Elizabeth Proctor and Carlo Sanchez will be strong advocates for their constituencies,” Governor Hogan said. “I offer my sincere congratulations and look forward to working with them to change Maryland for the better.”

Elizabeth Proctor will represent Prince George’s and Charles Counties in District 27A, replacing her late husband James Proctor, Jr. Ms. Proctor is a former educator for Prince George’s County Public Schools and has recently served as Chair of the Prince George’s County Tax Assessment Appeal Board and Vice Chair of the Prince George's Community College Board of Trustees.

Carlo Sanchez will represent Prince George’s County in District 47B, replacing William Campos. Mr. Sanchez is a Public Safety Training Officer at Montgomery College and was recently elected to the Prince George’s County Democratic Central Committee.

These appointments will take effect immediately.

Jesus. We are trying to keep immigrants and their thoughts and worthless opinions out and Hogan gives one a delegates position. That'll show them they can't come here and have a voice.

Mr. Sanchez is legal , he is also an educated man . I would love to see more Hispanics in P.G. county , it is now dominated by blacks and most are on the entitlement program that we pay for. Having said that , the Hispanic culture is not afraid of work and tackle most anything. Now the Proctor that Hogan delegated is another story , Elizabeth Proctor has as much experience in this field as any moron from P.G. county. Damn shame , that's the way it is , If you know a lot about a few things such as welfare , fraud , food stamps , free housing then she will make a good representative. Good ole P.G. County , the Ferguson of Maryland.
