The controversy continues in Kentucky as Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis steadfastly refuses to issue gay marriage licenses in her office despite the Supreme Court’s insistence that she relent and issue the licenses. There’s been a lot said about the clerk, but former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee has brought up at least one thing that no one else seems interested in discussing.
In a letter sent to his supporters, Huckabee is asking a series of questions about Kim Davis and her situation. One thing he notes is that Kim is a Democrat, something that few are mentioning, especially those in the mainstream media.
But more particularly Huckabee wants to know under exactly what law Davis is being commanded to issue marriage licenses to gay couples?
The main question is this: just what “law” did the Supreme Court make with its gay marriage decision? What statute was passed? What law written?
The answer is none.

You're right.. we know about the Constitution and branches of government. And we know that the people in the black robes aren't part of the legislative branch. They can't make laws.
So what law was it that she broke?
The Congress is prohibited from making laws about religion, 1:28. Mr Huckabee has the larger point here; she broke no laws, therefore cannot get a jail term.

How? He is exactly correct. The super court dosent make law. No law has ever been made saying it has to be issued. Only that it's no longer against the law for gays to be married.
Huckabee will never be president. Davis is in jail for disobeying the Judge's order which is not surprising. Having been married four times she has likely been disagreeable and unreasonably obstinate all her life. She is right where she belongs having met her match.
The fact she is a Democrat is not remarkable. There are plenty of conservative Christian Democrats in this country despite popular myth.
No there are no conservative christian democrats, all democrats are baby murderers. If you are a Democrat you are for abortion, you kill babies and you sell their body parts for money. It is what Democrats DO! Democrats are evil, if you are not an evil baby murderer, then you need to change parties.
Homosexual activists have been breaking laws in our country for almost 50 years to advance their agenda, and now all of a sudden, they demand everyone else obey the law, a law not passed by Congress, but a ruling delivered by the Supreme Court which is prohibited from making law. So, in the name of the law, activists undermine and destroy the rule of law, then make new law illegally, demanding the rest of us obey. Tyranny is the only word for it.
