An Alabama toddler apparently shot his father in the head on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Paramedics in the Birmingham suburb of Hoover found the 31-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound to the head in his apartment at around 3:15 p.m.,according to the Hoover Police Department.
Investigators believe the victim’s 2-year-old son may have accidentally fired a gun at his dad.
A family member found the as-yet-unidentified man unresponsive when she came home to The Cliffs at Rocky Ridge apartments, according to cops. The woman told police he had been accidentally shot, Capt. Gregg Rector said in an interview with AL.com.
