On May 29, bikers in Pheonix, Arizona, are holding a “Draw Muhammad” contest outside the mosque at the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, which is where the two gunmen who opened fire in Garland, Texas, allegedly attended.
Nadir Soofi and Elton Simpson drove from Phoenix to Garland and opened fire outside of the Curtis Culwell Center on May 3, while a Muhammad cartoon contest was being held. The two men were quickly killed by police working security at the event.
In the weeks since that event, numerous media pundits have criticized Pamela Geller for organizing the Muhammad cartoon contest to begin with. At what she described as her freedom of speech and expression, pundits recoiled and said she was asking for it by allegedly antagonizing Muslims.

I wish I could attend
These should be held in every city in America!
Amen
Really ignorant.
1st Amendment: Freedom of expression.
2nd Amendment : Right to bear (lawful) arms.
Re-read until understood.
While I applaud freedom of speech and expression.....and detest the religion of extreme violence; this might be too much taunting - and should be supervised by law enforcement to ensure neither side doesn't get out of hand!
Assimilate or leave!
Good job guys. Its about time Americans stood up for America. 8:51 you can go to hell. People like you are why we have terrorists.
If people who have the GOD given right to free speech cower in fear, and ridicule others who use it, do we really have "free speech" or only speech that most people agree with.....
If a crucifix can be placed in a jar of urine and called "art", and no one, ESPECIALLY the ones who say "Oh NO! Don't offend the muslims!!", says anything, the credibility of those whining fools is gone. Completely.
There should be a "Draw muhammed" day in this country as a National event, just to show people that we don't burn women alive, rape little girls, chop off the heads of "infidels" and certainly don't cower in fear of any third world, pedophilic, fake and murderous cult that worships a fake and murderous God.
Yeah. I said it. Come and get some.
I am an atheist, and I find the "crucifix in a jar of urine" offensive.
I'm also appalled at Britain's laws against burning a Koran, even in the privacy of one's home, when a bible can be publicly defiled without repercussions.
I am alarmed and disgusted, that imams in mosques all over the country, and racist hate-mongers such as Jeremiah Wright can get up on their pulpit and preach hatred while condoning and praising violence and discrimination to their congregation, yet a man is raided by government agents for a rambling non-specific rant on Facebook about obama's incompetency.
And I am sickened by the calculated, insidious hypocrisy of the Islamists. The genocide of Christians, as well as Yeshidis and "the wrong kind of Muslims", in the name of Islam. The "instant outrage" they put on, suing and protesting and threatening violence, unless we agree to give up some aspect of our culture they claim "offends" them.
Sure, it's a little "in your face". But everything they do is "in our faces". And they know it.
It's past time to peacefully demonstrate to them, that their "laws" do not apply to us, and they will not impose them on us.
If we choose to draw Mohammed, whether respectfully, comically, or satirically, that is our right. If we don't demonstrate our commitment to stand by our rights, they will continue eroding them.
Nobody is forcing them to draw pictures of Mohammed, but they need to be shown that they cannot and will not stop us from doing so.
Such a harmless little activity, to draw a simple picture of an old dead guy. And for them to go berserk over it, shows they aren't exactly wrapped too tight. Which makes them dangerous.
To all of us. Christians, Catholics, Buddhists, Jews, atheists and infidels of all kinds.
Draw a picture of Mohammed and remember who we are, our freedom, and how close our enemies are.
What could possibly go wrong?
Hey muslims it beats cutting peoples heads off ?

You're an IDIOT!!!
I bet you voted for Obama!!
Hahahaha Excellent.
We know a Christian person would not sponsor such an event.
We also know WHO sponsored the event in Texas. Not a Christian.
WHO wants chaos, murder, and mayhem?
3:00...You have missed the point by such a large margin that I wonder if you aren't a muslim trolling the site.
According to you, no one should say or do ANYTHING that might upset the muslims, because those "peace-loving" animals will kill people
And to answer your question about who wants chaos and murder, read the paper or watch the news. That should give you a clue.
Nobody wants chaos, murder and mayhem 3:00. That is exactly why Americans need to stand against this cancer NOW-before it is too late. If we cower and let them take over our country, we will have chaos, murder and mayhem as a way of life-not to mention torture, rape and child molestation of unimaginable magnitude (just to list a few of the profound problems that come when you let neanderthal animals take over your civil society).
How the hell did these people get into this country anyhow?
when the boiling stops, you needn't stir the pot.

8:20 If it's simmering, it needs to be stirred.
