RadioShack closing Hagerstown distribution center

RadioShack Corp. plans to close its Hagerstown distribution center, according to the state's labor department, a move that will result in 87 layoffs.

The Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation said the facility will close March 11. Some of the employees will be retained for an additional period of time, depending on how long it takes to complete the closing, DLLR said.

Radio Shack was hot stuff in the early days of 50 years ago and into the late '80s when it was a ground breaker in personal computing. But now it's a dinosaur.

Radio Shack is closing can be blamed on O'Malley, Miller and Busch and it's non-business friendly State, not because it's a dinosaur.

Lol 7:02 in this case it's a failing chain. Didn't matter much if it was in Maryland or Montana.

Much as I'd love to blame O'M, can't do it this time.
