This happens more often than you think. My 83 year old father developed dementia in the last 2 years of his life and two "friendly" ladies took a "romantic" interest in him. They managed to get his credit card and took a trip to St. Thomas, spent money on nails and beauty shops, gas, gifts, lawn mowers, propane, etc.
