Frank Kutka is working to save our heirloom corn from cross-breeding with genetically modified corn. He’s been diligently at work for over 15 years now developing what he calls “Organic Ready” corn varieties that have the ability to block cross-pollination, thus eliminating Monsanto’s prevalently grown GMO corn from infesting organic farmer’s crops.

Needless to say, Kutka, like all farmers growing organic crops, faces an enormous challenge. U.S. farmers currently plant millions of acres of GMO corn, among other GMO crops. Around 93% of the year’s corn crop was genetically modified.

For those of us that like to eat corn, there's a difference. I would rather have my food as nature intended/allowed - not manufactured....

Duh! All field corn grown for livestock feed is hybrid. You can not save the seeds and plant them. They will produce corn plants, but will revert to one of the grandparents, not the parents. In other words, Frank Kutka is full of it.
I've been using Heirloom seed for many years. The seed is saved at the end of the harvest, made ready and stored for the next season.
the taste difference is awesome, so much better than hybrid and much healthier.

90 percent of American corn is GMO.
Gonna be a while before NGMO becomes mainstream.
10:24 NGMO and organic are already filled with fraud and mistruth, and people are lapping it up. It's a shame how uneducated we are, as a society.
