O'Malley Holding Second Meeting With Clergy On Immigrant Children

For the second week in a row, Governor Martin O'Malley is scheduled to meet with clergy leaders on Monday to discuss potential housing in Maryland for some of the thousands of children who have come to the U.S. illegally from Central America.

Leaders of Catholic Charities, the Maryland Catholic Conference and the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland are among those due to meet with the governor.

Aides to the governor are saying little about the meeting., All spokeswoman Nina Smith would say about the meeting is that it would take place behind closed doors, and would take place Monday morning.

I smell a 'rat'; do you agree?

Behind closed doors. Just like our president. Hide everything from us. Were not smart enough to understand what's going on. They are going to do what's best for us. BS

Now I demand that all the democrats start calling the governor and telling him these faith based organizations that agree to take these children receive no government funding!
Just because President Bush signed into law, allowing tax payers money to religious groups doesn't mean it has to be utilized by the democrats.
This is the perfect time to show that democrats stand behind their principles and have integrity.
This won't happen though because there isn't an honest decent democrat in the crowd-NOT ONE!

Let the Governor and his wife put up cots in their personal home and tents in their back yard. Then they can show their true compassion by feeding and housing these illegals within the limits of their own bank account.

Not only the governor but Mathias, Conway, Ireton, Mitchell, and all the other democrat elected officials and those seeking election 10:02.
If they have to put themselves out a little bit then that's the cost of standing behind what you believe in. Not one will do it though. All talk but not once ounce of honesty within the party.
I expect the ones who claim they are against this, to be immediately firing off a letter to the governor and send it to the media as well.
