Mozilla CEO resigns for support of traditional marriage and not supporting gay marriage

This is what heavy handed Gay Bullies do, they scare corporations to give up a pound of flesh for not sucking up to the Gay lobby.

The software company came under fire for appointing Eich as CEO last month. In 2008, he gave money to oppose the legalization of gay marriage in California, a hot-button issue especially at a company that boasts about its policy of inclusiveness and diversity.

“We didn’t act like you’d expect Mozilla to act,” wrote Mozilla Executive Chairwoman Mitchell Baker in a blog post. “We didn’t move fast enough to engage with people once the controversy started. We’re sorry.”

The next step for Mozilla’s leadership “is still being discussed,” she added, with more information to come next week.

While gay activists applauded the move, many in the technology community lamented the departure of Eich, who invented the programming language Javascript and co-founded Mozilla.

You know, everybody who runs a website has a way to make it not accept Mozilla browsers! But will they write that in their software? Heck no! It would lose them half their traffic!

Instead, they have to come out publicly and call names. Eich should not resign; he should stand tall and proud of what moral values he happens to believe in, and tell EXCupid.com they have the same rights.

Militant homosexuals are the very worst. They show their insecurities with childlike outbursts of hatred and disdain for men that choose to live like real men. Homosexuality is sickening and clearly mentally deficient. No amount of bullying, rainbow flag waving or "coming outance" can change that.
ITS NOT THAT I'M ANTI HOMO, IT'S JUST THAT I'M PRO-NORMAL!

I do not believe he should have to resign.
He has a right to his opinion.

I guess now if someone wants to advance in a company they aren't allowed to have an opinion?
Oh please liberals keep having abortions! The very last thing this country needs are more people who are so insecure that what other people say or do "offends" them.

He donated in 2008 the same time Obama was against gay marriage shouldn't Obama resign too?

Prop 8 passed in California due to the higher Black turnout to vote in 2008 to vote for Obama, and a strong majority of blacks are against homosexual marriage.
The reason this got lost his job was because unlike Obama, he hasn't changed his view on same sex marriage, and thus the free market is punishing him.

the left continues to use intimidation to stifle speech. that's what's going on here and it will continue as long as people 'give in' to their tactics.

if you believe a certain way in your heart or if you want to contribute to a candidate of your choice; Don't be intimidated, EVER. do what you know is the right thing to do and NEVER let anyone stop this action.

eventually they will back off if everyone follows this path.

Mozilla's spineless board deserves any and all scorn that comes its way.

As a private citizen, in 2008, he gave a nominal sum to support his personal views.

He'd been employed all the while at Mozilla in high visibility job/s but without any evident public outcry.

Re-evaluating my decade plus use of their product.
