That is the essential argument made by Jon Stewart and his cast of lying Lincolnites during their “Comedy Central” hatchet job on Judge Napolitano last week. They made this point in response to the fact that: 1) All other nations (i.e., British, Spanish, French, Danes, Dutch, Swedes, the Northern states of the U.S.) ended slavery peacefully in the nineteenth century. There were no “wars of emancipation” in New England, New York, or Illinois. So as to not even consider the possibility that America could have done the same in the 1860s, Stewart and his cast of liars and deceivers were making the point that since many slaves died during the transatlantic slave trade, the “Civil War” deaths were all justified. So shut up already! was their point. Two wrongs make a right after all. They deserved it.
This is a version of Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Address argument that: 1) Although he personally was not a Christian, he could read the mind of God; and 2) God’s mind told him that the war just “came” (Abe claimed to have nothing to do with it), and was God’s punishment of all Americans, North and South, for the sin of slavery. Argue with this theory and you are arguing with God. So shut up already! (Abe never attempted to explain why God would not have also punished the British, Spanish, French, etc. who were responsible for bringing 95% of all the slaves to the Western Hemisphere).

Can we send them back?
That would be true reparations.
Relocation back to the ancestral homeland where they all feel they belong.
(voluntary of course)
