Charles William Hagee, 44, of Columbia, was arrested Wednesday morning at Baltimore police headquarters and will be charged with third- and fourth-degree sexual offense and sexual solicitation of a minor.
Howard County Police received a tip regarding the prostitution of a 14-year-old girl in Columbia. Detectives believe Hagee contacted the girl through a phone number posted to an online prostitution advertisement. Police believe the two exchanged text messages before meeting at his home and engaging in sexual activity on three separate occasions between January and May 2013.

why try to lessen the impact by including other pedophiles?
I'm SURE this was the first time he ever did that. Add soliciting prostitutes and contributing to the sexual exploitation of a minor to the list of things cops do with impunity (the "I can do whatever I want" badge). That list includes perjury, falsification of evidence, false satements in official police reports, and of course, the other things, like murder, rape, drug dealing, extortion, robbery, and theft.
He'll claim he was "investigating". I'm sure he was. And has been, for around 15-20 years. And he lets the criminals he finds go free (if they're female and can "help him out" a little).
