State Police Investigate Home Invasion East Of Seaford

Location: 24000 block of Jewell Street, Seaford, DE

Date of Occurrence: Wednesday November 20, 2013 at approximately 10:45 p.m.

Victims:
31 year old male
23 year old female
17 month old female

Suspects:
Two black males wearing dark colored clothing and black masks with gloves (no further physical or clothing description). Armed with unknown type handguns.

Resume:
Seaford, DE- The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit is currently investigating a home invasion that occurred east of Seaford late last night.

Troopers responded to the 24000 block of Jewell Street around 10:45 Wednesday evening after a 9-1-1 call was placed from the residence stating two subjects had just broken into their house. The investigation revealed two black males forcibly enter the front door to the home and confronted the three victims in the living room with handguns. They demanded money from the 31 year old male victim and began striking him in the head with the pistol before fleeing the residence without any money or items in an unknown direction. The male victim was slightly injured as a result of the assault and was transported by EMS to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.
