60 paid firemen with nothing to do. Just kidding you get to Chase the EMTs around-the-clock. And rack up the miles on your toys.
What in the world is this city council waiting for? It is obvious there is no need for 60 paid fireman and we have so many there are 2 fire engine crews on this weekend. Guess what they will be doing when you are in bed tonight? They will be sleeping just like you will be.
No fars? Guess that's a good thing, but a response for back pain??? I have some back pain every time I do hard physical labor!
Engine 16 is self dispatching themselves on an ambulance call to Anchorage Nursing home. I may be wrong, but I would think there is more than enough medical help in a nursing home where a fire truck isn't needed.
Our tax payers money at ---PLAY!
You can blame your local goverment people!
Ain't it great how paid firemen ain't got NO duties except to chase EMT and sleep.
So for you uneducated "taxpayers" accept the firemen's invite of coming to the firehouse following them around. Of course since none of you "experts" have the brains to do more than than sit on your butts and trash firemen under the pen name of anonymous it ain't ggonna happen.
You need to use your mouth at Council Meetings - not your fingers on a blog if 60 paid firemen are too many.
I think 60 is just plain not enough, so I'm signing up! I'm qualified to sleep, and can even do it in a lazy Boy recliner! Chasing ambulances in a big truck? Hey, they're not much on acceleration, but if the light is green, I can roll it! Flagging cars and directing traffic at the nursing home while they load an exiter is a piece of cake, dude!
Gad, this is gonna be better than welfare and food stamps all day!
Has it ever occurred to you that these folks may be needed very soon for something much more important and that is why they are on the payroll? They may be doing things "outside" the norm at this time but maybe the need is right around the corner.
