A larger than life figure from the glory days of the Baltimore Colts has died.
Art Donovan was 89 when he died Sunday evening at Stella Maris Hospice.
He had been suffering from respiratory problems.
Artie Donovan was born in New York and served in the Marines in World War Two.

Good person good player back in his day
Great guy. Even with all the money he had he remained humble. He favorite meal was a cheeseburger and a shlitz malt liqueur.
Had season tickets for 10 yrs. when he played & only missed 6 games. Loved watching him play. One of my all time favorites.
