Bush-Era NSA Whistleblower Makes Most Explosive Allegations Yet About Extent Of Gov’t Surveillance

Russ Tice, a former intelligence analyst and Bush-era NSA whistleblower, claimed Wednesday that the intelligence community has ordered surveillance on a wide range of groups and individuals, including high-ranking military officials, lawmakers and diplomats.

He also made another stunning allegation. He says the NSA had ordered wiretaps on phones connected to then-Senate candidate Barack Obama back in 2004.

“They went after–and I know this because I had my hands literally on the paperwork for these sort of things–they went after high-ranking military officers; they went after members of Congress, both Senate and the House, especially on the intelligence committees and on the armed services committees and some of the–and judicial,” Tice told Peter B. Collins on Boiling Frog Post News.

This explains some of the votes and decisions of the people we help put in office. There’s nothing like a little blackmail to help persuade somebody. The whole system is corrupt from the top down. Time for a "fundamental change" as Obama likes to say.

Think of how much control and power Hoover had with his extremely puny abilities to gather information. Now, multiply THAT by 10,000 and you can imagine what a monster NSA is now...."for our safety"? "stopping 50 terrorist attacks" (that no one can actually specify)? If it's not "for the children", or to "save even one life", then go directly to the tried and (not so) true "national security" BS. The REAL power is not in the Congress, judiciary, or the executive branch. Its in the background, just pulling strings (and phone records). You know, congressman, it could be the end of your career if people found out blah blah blah. But hey, WE know how tough your job is -- vote this way and this file will probably just get lost or misplaced, forever. What do ya say?
