The first family will be vacationing in Hawaii for the Christmas holidays at a cost of at least $4 million to taxpayers, according to a report from the Hawaii Reporter.
The Hawaiian paper reports that residents living near the beachfront homes at Kailuana Place, where the President Obama and first family have visited annually since 2008, were notified Monday that there will be restrictions on their movements in place for 20 days, from Dec. 17 through Jan. 6.

Doing a quick calculation, I figure that $4 million would cover a week at Disney World for about 2500 families of five. How great would it be if the First Family came out with the following statement:
"We, as a family, have decided that due to the difficult economic situation we are going to postpone our family gathering in Hawaii for now. Instead, we are asking that at least 4 million Americans donate just one dollar to a matching fund, and we'll send the families that are still suffering from Hurricane Sandy on a one-week vacation to Disney World. Thank you."
I would be an instant fan of Obama. Could politics ever possibly be that simple?
This is absolutely sickening and ridiculous. So many people hurting so badly and just because they don't believe in Christmas doesn't mean they need to spend $4 million in taxpayers dollars to go hideout in December. Vacations just never end for that bunch.

That 4 million is more than 99.9 percent of the people that pay taxes make in a year. So thats why he want the rich to pay more taxes. I wonder how many people that make 250000 a year get to spend 20 days in Hawaii for vacation?
