Police Investigating Another Fire in Accomack Co.

Virginia State Police agents are investigating a barn fire that occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

The fire occurred at 26000 Nelsonia Road, a news release from state police said. Agents responded to the scene and are investigating.

If determined to be an arson, it would be the 39th in Accomack County since Nov. 13.

Keep your lead investigation of the fire department staff.

If and when this story hits national news, the investigative team from that county will look like fools. It's time to up the reward - because SOMEBODY has got to know who is doing this. Do it before this maniac kills someone.

The officials in Accomack are currently offering a $5,000 reward.

Maybe if they would up it to $50,000 then they would get some leads. Let's face it $5,000 is hardly enough incentive for anyone to want to get involved in apprehending this person.

Then again, if all of the structures were in substantial deterioration - it might be an asset to the community. I know of a number of abandoned chicken houses that are really safety concerns - yet no one wants to remove them.

7:45-If it reaches a national phase, would'nt the FBI eventually get involved?I don't know what their criteria is,but enough is enough.

1:29: I don't know the FBI criteria is either... But SOMEBODY has to help Andy, Barney, and Gomer solve this down there in Accomack. Almost a fire EVERY DAY for about 40 days. Absolutely ridiculous.

I agree 9:37pm...this to me is suspicious of an inside job. it seems that the empty houses had just been patrolled when a call for the fire is reported.hmmmmmm

FBI does not do fires. The ATFE does the fires and i would hope they are working on the case already.

I doubt the F.B.I. will get involved unless a national landmark is destroyed.

I'm quite sure they have other things to worry about. The F.B.I. isn't what it used to be back in the day either. It has it's share of barney's, and gomers.

Don't have much faith in the local or state le do ya? lol
