9:50, more jobs have been lost as opposed to saved due to unionization. Take the auto industry. They continue to downsize and are outsourcing component parts.
Recently in CA a Chinese company was awarded the contract to rebuild the Oakland Bridge because due to unionization American companies cound not compete.

Unions used to have a place. Now we have the Fair Labor Standards Act. Unions create unnecessary primary and secondary costs which could be better spent on employees and benefits. The auto industry is a perfect example of how greed and bullying Practically destroyed the very industry it was trying to "support". It's no longer 1950.

Just like the Piedmont Flight Attendants out here in Salisbury. They voted to strike a few weeks ago and are proud of it. They don't care if passengers are inconvenienced on their much needed vacations that they planned months ago just because they are "not happy" with their work conditions/contract. Poor Babies. I know lots of people who would love to have their jobs without all the union bull behind them.
Unions do more damage than good and glad I am not affiliated with a company that is unionized.

This is not the first time the Piedmont flying waitresses have pulled this stunt. It takes like a month to train new ones. If I was Piedmont I'd be starting union busting now.

Chicago teachers are already paid well above average, the avg salary in Chicago is 55-60k and they are CURRENTLY at an avg of 70-75k, they have summers off as well as all holidays, they have health insurance which they pay nothing for, except their union dues, and when they retire they are set for life. Oh, i forgot to mention that the graduation rate there is only 55%. Yeah, greedy does not begin to describe it!

9;50, More jobs in the US have been lost as a direct result of unions more than any other cause. That's why the unions are targeting public sector jobs now because their membership has fallen dramtically.

You can't say that Union Greed is destroying the USA unless you also say that Corporate Greed is equally destroying it. Why is it o.k. for CEO's to take home millions a year without the public being outrages. Greed is greed, you can't compartmentalize it.

11:02 - how can a corporate CEO performing his job and being paid extremely well be destroying the USA. I bet the number of CEO's actually harming their companies and employees is a very low number. And if they are there are laws in place to see that they are punished. One man milking his company for millions dosen't compare to the damage unions are doing to this country.
