Meet Sgt. James McIlvaine of Olney, Md. – a handsome 26-year-old U.S.
Marine, devoted husband, loving father of two young children and
dedicated man anyone would want the privilege of calling a friend.
McIlvaine, known for having a splendid sense of humor that could make
a room full of people roar with laughter, served in the U.S. military
for nearly eight years – including combat missions in Afghanistan and
Iraq.
A natural leader, he knew a thing or two about loyalty, love of his country, service and sacrifice.
In fact, he sacrificed his own life for your freedom.

Thank you, Sgt. James McIlvaine. Truly a sacrifice for our freedoms. Thank you also to his family. He gave the ultimate sacrifice, and that means his family also gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Thank you to the McIlvaine family! Our prayers cover your family and trust you feel the love of those around you.
God Bless him and keep him safe in heaven. I hope his wife and children never forget that there are still those of us in America who appreciate our soldiers sacrifice and see them as the heros they are.
We love you.
shame good men dieing like this for a bunch of backwards tribal illiterates that don't give a crap about freedom or liberty. Time to bring all the boys home and just bomb the place into oblivion! So the next country that attacks us knows what to expect!
Hey What About Mcmullen. The fire department doesnt want you to forget a bout him
These are the true heros. Those killed in our military. All others pale in comparison: police, fireman, etc. They are a very far and distant place in relationship to these. Our fallen military!
Today MSNBC's Chirs Hayes claimed he was "uncomfortable" calling our fallen servicemen "heroes". Beyond despicable. Thank all of our military from the bottom of my heart for your service and the sacrifices you make you ARE heroes. There will be a special place for the likes of Chris Hayes.
