Senator Mark Chelgrin Wants Child Support Recipients To Be Drug Tested
Iowa State Senator Mark Chelgrin introduced legislation to require people who receive child support payments to be drug tested too. Chelgrin said he's introducing the legislation on behalf of an anonymous constituent who believes their ex is using child support money for drugs.

That should be a case by case ordered at a judges leisure.anyone could say that.especially when custody is an issue.
GOOD Idea!=Also test Food Stamp recps. Changing Food Stamps for cash to buy them. I wish there was some way i could snitch on them. Hire me.
Be careful of the slippery slope you are so intent on giving the government the ability to tilt at their will. Just like the Nazi "checkpoints" you ardently embraced, once you give these wannabe Hitlerites a new power otr authoruty, they ain't giving it up -- only EXPANDING it use....of course, most of you narrow thinking, bootlicking, yes-men (and women) would be okay with letting them line us up and strip search us every morning as we leave for work... just as long as it isn't YOU getting stripped. Because YOU are guilt free and perfect in every way. Don't slip too far as you cheer the latest and greatest new "idea".
Whelp I guess we now know who is doing the drugs.
Well, I feel that all people getting FREE money should be tested if they want or plan to get FREE money... Especially if I am the one paying for it... Especially if I have to pay for their use and I am struggling just to make ends meet...
In fact I think senators should be tested as well since they to get FREE money...
That will only hurt the kids who are the innocents here. Sounds like a deadbeat dad that wants to shun his responsability. You made the kid support it and get over it.
lmclain's got a good point. I'm the first to moan and howl about druggie but once you open the door.....next it could be anyone with a drivers license has to take a drug test.....
I think its a great idea!!!
