Is WBOC having issues with their broadcast of football playoff game?? We have directv and get local channels through them. My screen keeps freezing. We even went and tried to use converter box with the antenna and still cant get it. Its absolutely ridiculous and it really pisses me off!! I noticed it on fox 21 earlier but it wasn't quite this bad...Hope they don't have coverage of ravens game tomorrow. Have a great night.

Get an antenna, the over the air feed is fine
it's only the ravens, why don't you go to eci and you can see as many thugs as you want up close and personal!

I got Directv installed on friday and had the same trouble with the games last night. I called them and they are semding out a technician monday. If he cannot resolve it, he can take this equiptment back and I will go back to comcast. I spent most of friday evening on the phone and computer trying to get it to work properly and missed much of saturdays games due to it freezing up. Im NOT happy with Directv so far! PS- Im not a steelers fan either. My team is already out of the playoffs and I just wanna watch the remainder of the season.
I've had DirectTV for years and just added the locals over the last year or so. All day yesterday was a nightmare trying to get and keep 16. The only stations we EVER have issues with are the local ones. I'm not sure what the issue is but they aren't decreasing my bill for fewer channels so they need to get it right!

We have a antenna outside on a pole 30feet in the air and still have the same problem,With no directv hookup so its not there fought,its with all the local channels.
we switched over to an over-the-air signal with an antenna and had no problem the rest of the game even as the directv signal in the other room kept freezing up.
Your frustrations should be with the uplink equipment at WBOC

no not a steelers fan nor a redskins fan, just refuse to put up with million dollar athletes who break the law and set extremely poor examples for our youth. The ravens players are some of the worst offenders! At least find a team and or players with some class and some idea of what it means to set an example for our youth today. I thought it was fitting the ravens have a player coming to prince street school. Figures that organization would send a player to that school! Guess he can teach them what they don't already know about thuggery! same for Michael vick and snow hill. almost poignant!

DirecTV has a long "public-be-damned" attitude and has been caught REPEATEDLY lying about it's outages Think sbout it. WBOC can be seen over the air, on countless cable systems, and on "Dish." The only source with a problem is DirecTV???? Hmmm,

wboc is a bunch of jack-offs.it starts with craig jehalka he's a tight-wad sob. he ought to buy quality equipment for a cbs/fox-21 station. y do you think they have such a huge employee turnover? cause the employees are fed up with the pay scale and poor quality equipment.wjz tv 13 or fox out of baltimore does not have these issues. Ravenmaniac ooohhhhrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaa! how bout them Ravens baby.
I've had this issue with WBOC since they went digital. This was happening using an antenna and continued, though less frequently, when watching WBOC through DirecTV.
it was working fine at my house
i do know from an email to wboc earlier in the year that there was a problem with the equipment then
