Wikileaks - Feds Order Government Employees And Defense Contractors To Refrain From Reading

I thought you might find this interesting.  The Feds have officially given notice to all Federal employees to refrain from reading the documents recently released by Wikileak:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40512200/ns/us_news-wikileaks_in_security

Remember how WWII was run with disinformation and dissemination of false information - to help throw off the Germans and Japanese.

Problem is - who can now distinguish between a lie and the actual truth with all of our corrupt Federal, State, and even local politicians.  We have both seen this first hand.  Wikileak - is actually a free press.

My opinion - I say read the information and then draw your own conclusions.

This is really scary to think that the 1st Amendment - Freedom of Press is being handcuffed by our own federal government.

This action or directive is clearly a violation of our nations constitution.

6:46 - What is espionage? Wikileaks did not steal the documents, it just posted them. If Joe posts something the government does not like, should they shut him down too?

7:00 He received stolen property and used and sold for his benefit. If someone gives me a stolen TV and I knew it was stolen I have committed a crime. Espionage involves an individual obtaining information that is considered secret or confidential without the permission of the holder of the information. It's crime ! damn public school.

Espionage? LOL What espionage?

Blabber mouth maybe.

Use a dictionary before commenting or stop watching or reading Network news.

Love them or hate them.

Wikileaks has shaken up international drama, by just simply leaking the truth out.

7:15 Just because you are entertained by the news cycle doesn't make it legal the definition came from wikipedia ironically. You should do some research of basic law as it seems common sense has escaped you.

I did look at the Wikileaks.

What struck me most was that they were all neatly cataloged and cross referenced and statisticly evaluated. These are basic libarian functions. Wikieleaks neither had the time nor man powere to do this. What the Government is trying to do is misdirect that this kind of information (and much much more) is parked in libaries around the country, some what readly available to all.

Information is healthy, to much information may fog the mind, lack, spin and control of information breeds conspiray theories.

No Joe they did. He had these for quite a while. And that is precisely why he is releasing them a little at a time. So that people can look at the dates and go back and compare them to what was actually going on at the time. This doesn't paint a pretty picture. He definitely did it right....and some of this stuff is not available in a library

Pvt. Manning and activists like him that have infiltrated the military are the problem.
