Yes

It's kind of difficult to hang a victim.

Wasn't his young son sleeping in the next room?

no

Selfish people never realize the ramifications of what they do to others with their own personal greedy goals. Hopefully daddy is will stay alive and live in his own private hell now greedy sob.

It may be hard but it can be done. I do not believe it was suicide nor do I think it will be last

Yes. That's why the weird call to check on his son. He knew he'd be dead and wanted someone to take his son and find his body.

Say what you want, but eventually all of Bernie's family will disappear

Does it matter? Does he or this story pay my bills? Does he or this story sign my checks? NOOO. Just another criminal who had lots of money from criminal activity.

Yes I do. It's hard for some people to take a financial hit. Love of money is the root of all evil.

Yes, couldn't live with what his father had knowingly done to so many. There were many who had put everything they had into his hands and now they have nothing. I thought about it two years ago whn I heard that it was his two sons who turned him into the Feds. How would I of handled it if it had been my Father. I still have no answer because my parents are givers, not takers. Bernie is learning what it's like to lose everything, not just things you can buy with money. I hope he won't be permitted to go to the funeral. The son hasn't spoke to either one of his parents since it all happened two years ago so I'm sure he wouldn't want them there for the final goodbye. It'll be interesting to know what the two text messages he sent t his wife and father-in-law said.

American Greed has no conscious. Did this person kill himself? Absolutely, not. Did an angry victim of Mr. Madoff's greed kill him? I would believe this more then the son of Madoff killing himself. The son and his mother have a comfortable lifestyle. Maybe not millionaires. But, comfortable. Rich people don’t care about the poor and the middle class. They love themselves more. Ask the Walton Family. The family who owns Wal-Mart. These people take care of their own.

Yes and now his widow will get to keep all the illegal money they made.

You all are forgetting that it was Madoff's sons who turned him in.

Bernie was going down in flames and he knew it, he let his sons turn him in to stall/deflect their complicity. They knew as well as lil' Ruthie. Big investors and government will leave no stone unturned to get every cent they can back, for publicity, if nothing else. Could someone have killed the son? A couple of 4-6 inch nylon/canvas refrigerator type bands with racheting closures on them would have held his arms tight enough to his body and his legs together. A gun pointed at him, would have made him not move knowing his child was in the next room, and not knowing the final intent of the people involved. Then thow the rope over something high, hang him, remove the bands and have the secound guy hold his dead body up while tying off the end to make it look self inflicted. If I lost millions of dollars to ol' Bernie, I'd be thinking about doing it too, along with a thousand others. Message sent, more to come! If Ruth doesn't take a big leap off a tall building, I'll be surprised.

No way! The real 9/11 attackers (our gov't) killed him and then made it look like a suicide
