Salisbury News has come to learn that Tom Taylor has filed as a republican to run for Wicomico County Executive. Talk about a conflict of interest.
Tom works for the non profit PAC 14 and we ALL know the hard times they have seen both in the City and County. Again, every one has the right to file and run but come on Folks, we can do better than this.
How about someone like Robin Holloway!

Joe, you should change your residence to 300 Main and run. We the people need someone like you as executive. No one knows the issues like you do.
Is he related to Johnathan Taylor. I heard he is.
Anonymous 10:40am - Great Idea - DO IT JOE - DO IT . I would vote for you!!
No, Joe, You are doing the area a great service that we couldn't do without.
Is Tom Thompson from Salisbury and did he go to JMB?
Mrs. Holloway has been very fair on the school board but I'm sure after all the craziness there she needs a break.
Tom Taylor is a great guy and does a lot for the community, and local Boy Scouts (as seen in the pic). I would like to hear more about his views.
Joe Holloway would be best
Tom Taylor can be a good guy as long as you have the same opinions and views as he does. He does not know how to work with other people for the good of the group.
Which is ironic because a Scoutmaster is supposed to teach the Scouts how to work together for the good of the Patrol, the Troop and their community. Troop 185 is a good troop but they (especially Tom) need to learn you get what you give. If they would give a little bit they would get so much more back. That is what Boy Scouts is all about.
Wicomico County doesn't need Tom Taylor. All he cares about is what is in it for him. We need someone who cares more about what he can do for us. We need someone who can bring people together and make things better for everyone.
Robin - You go girl!
115 I have spent time with Tom and personally he is in it because he wants change. period. Go Tom!!! ;)
I lost trust and respect for him over the PAC14 mess. he should have stayed out of it while the city and county decided what to do. I think that his lobbying efforts were misguided and that PAC 14 should have tightened its belt like everyone else instead of sticking it to the city taxpayers. Still, I appreciate what he does with the scouts. I wouldn't vote for him for county executive. I'm still hoping that a really good candidate will come along.
There was a Tom Thompson who attended Bennett. If you are talking about the one who should be 46 yrs old, he passed away 2 yrs ago.
Taylor filed as a Democrat.
