In a speech last week on the disaster unfolding in the Gulf, President Obama told the nation that for decades, there existed a “scandalously close relationship between oil companies and the agency that regulates them,” and that he took responsibility for a culture that had “not fully changed” under his administration.
On that subject-the culture of coziness between the Minerals Management Service and industry-a non-profit Wyoming news service WyoFile published a report today that details some of the ties between MMS internal culture, the state of Wyoming, and the state’s native son, Dick Cheney.

More slander from Obama when will he focus on his own failures and take responsibility instead of blaming the previous administration it's becoming laughable .
Bill Clinton used Halliburton more then any other president !
He didn't use them to wage illegal wars.
We were still bombing Iraq under Clinton not to mention the war Clinton started to change attention from the lewinski investigation remember it's the one where they struck the Chinese building by accident killed several . And if the war was illegal why did the Congress vote to fund it ?
I want Bush and Cheney back .
Because Bush and his assistants lied to everyone, including the Congress that is why the war was initially funded.
As for the subsequent funding, it's the right thing to do to fund the soldiers on the ground that were sent there by the commander in chief.
It was/is wrong for Bush and Obama for that matter to keep soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm not even talking about Germany, Japan, Korea, etc.
Want a good use of your troops, put them along the border.
