I received numerous calls last night and throughout the day so far today from people who lost their power, cable, trees down, you name it. What amazes me are our numbers. I looked at Site Meter and we're kicking butt! It must have been the anticipation of the Barrie Tilghman Post because we're going strong like any normal day, yet we know power is out for many and cable is down.

Update On Snow Blower: I did speak to my mechanic this morning and he is working on my Snow Blower. It doesn't make any sense for me to try to get outside and do anything until this snowfall dies down. Once it does we'll make every attempt to get out there and help those who need it the most. Let's just hope he gets the thing up and running properly.

In Delmar it seems to be getting worse, turning to froozen ice and everything is a mess. Stay off the roads.

Thanks, Joe! Worcester just found a frozen DB at a trailer park. It's a mess here but not as bad as North and West.

I live in Delmar,MD. My power went out about 3 am and it did come back on till 12 pm. My sister in law lives on the DE side of Delmar. Her power is still out. The roads are bad here. I'm look out the window and can not see anything. Stay in & stay safe.
My Family lives on North Park Drive in Salisbury and have been with out power since 10:00 pm Friday night. Now DPL is now telling them they won't have power until Monday evening. :(
we never lost power or cable. we were lucky. as a matter of fact I can't remember a time when we've had any storm that's knocked out power or cable.
