"The Joe Albero Show"
This originally aired at 9:00 AM. I have changed the time so this Post could stay up top and new Posts will fall just below it. Remember Folks, I did NOT have a Blog at the time of this Press Conference. The former Mayor used the Press in an attempt to make YOU believe this personal e-mail was connected to the Blogs and it did not. I wonder what the former Mayor is thinking about Blogs today. Oh, I'll finish with, the Mayors Son owns a Blog as well. Go figure! Enjoy the Show.

Mind you Folks, at the time of this Press Conference, I DID NOT OWN A BLOG.
Of course, I did start one immediately after this Press Conference. I mean, why not. The Mayor was encouraging everyone to go to the Blogs.
Also remember, this was a personal e-mail I had sent the Mayor. Why was she holding a Press Conference on a private e-mail, attemprting to make it look as if it represented the Blogs.
This is how she used the Press on a regular basis.

Hey Joe - I am having a hard time viewing your news clips....It is "broken talk"....what do I need to download so I can hear you "just as I am when watching news on tv"???????
Just pause it for a few minutes and let it buffer. There are so many people watching it right now that its bound to slow down.

I remember when all of this happened. Thanks for the full version Joe. I believe she was trying to discredit the blogs because of the waste water treatment plant violations. She obviously failed.
Barrie stepped with both feet into the s**t of the WWTP and other failures she was trying so hard to deny/suppress when she held this press conference. No amount of damage control could save face for her from this point on. It was a defining moment in her career as mayor. It showed us that at the time were aware of some of the city's major problems what a manipulative, opportunistic, self-aggrandizing b***h she is, and it showed everyone that saw it on tv the way to the blogs that were then operating. It spurred their curiosity. Once they got to the blogs, even some fervent Barrie supporters, a lot of the pieces came together and her role in the city's previously hidden failures began to be apparent.
Yes, this press conference signalled the end of the Barrie Tilghman administration. And to think it was all started over a childishly rude private email. It was the end of her always getting the final word, which was a hallmark of her administration.
This woman seriously had some balls. Evidently she stole them from her husband. I wonder if he's asked for them back.

Sometimes I wonder why and how people like Barrie have made it this far. It surprises me that she has any children , can't imagine how it happened. I remember her pushing me out of the way to enter the civic center one afternoon. The all powerful Barrie.

Biggest mistake she ever made was to have this "interview", as she called it. Notice that there were no questions allowed. Some interview.
She would have done better to issue a written statement, because she's definitely not got any visual or audible appeal. And what she said could have been said in 20seconds instead of dragging it on.
I can imagine what she was like as a kid - a playground bully. I'll bet even the boys were afraid of her.
How dumb is it to send people to a place where your lies are being revealed? She must have been really upset by the sperm comment to endanger her career like that, just to slap one person down.

It's very ironic that this is what prompted your blog Joe. Life can be very interesting with its twists and turns.

God this could be the movie "The Shining"......Heeerrreeeesss Johnny, only heeeerrreeesss Barrie.
Barrie was playing one of her usual cards:
Victimhood.
She thought everyone would go, "Awwww, poor Barrie" and the blogs would just go away.
Because the Daily Times was her mouth organ and the TV stations nothing but film takers, she got away with a lot.
But oh that sludge pit at the WWTP! Once that broke on the blogs, train kept a-rollin' all night long.
11:18, Barrie is still in our lives because we will have to live for decades with the hell she hath wrought on our city like the costly "99% compliant" WWTP, sweetheart deals for her developer buddies, sellout to the slumlords, persecution tactics toward her opponents, smarmy politicians like Dunn and Comegys, and on and on and on!
All of this is just my opinion, but I can't think of any natural disaster since the Great Fires that has done more damage to Salisbury than Barrie Tilghman and her aiders and abetters, including the willing Daily Times and the unwitting other media.
1. The WWTP bottomless cost pit.
2. Slums for palin' around with slumlords.
3. Sweetheart deals for developers.

I take it we are to keep the list going? LOL!

I wish her husband would sell out and both of them move to Florida. No offense intended to you, Matt, but you're chained to her for life and it's the only way we can get her out of here for good.
God, what a narcissist this woman was - it was ALL about Barrie, ALL the time.

Damn Joe - hard to believe it took her all that bumbling & rambling to just "make a statement." Barrie has got a bigger problem, & now you can see it. I really think your email struck a chord in her, Joe - she deep down inside wanted you - and BAD! To go public with that? Man, why didn't she just call you up on the side and ask if you would slip it to her? Barrie biotch didn't CARE who didn't like or even respect her. Hell, she didn't respect herself. I saw her out during the tree lighting ceremony, and she wuz babbling a$$ drunk, or on her way to it. There must have been a long "history" between the mayor and Joe for this email to be sent to her. I think that email was disrespectful, VERY DISRESPECTFUL. Evidently there was ways to remove high officials of the city/county administration but I believe with all my being that we still must be respectful for the youth and future of tomorrow are being taught by our daily handling of problems............She is no longer Mayor why cant we go on to new problems to be solved in Salisbury and surrounding areas. There are plenty. And yes citizens need a voice and apparently you are our voice but lets never forget our morals and respect in our endeavors...
Jeanne....Are you talking about proper political etiquette because it is very hard to respect corruptness. Respect is something that you earn, not a given just because of your "status" on the ladder.

Interesting how she said (several times) how the blogs were opinions, etc. Yet she didn't mind fueling JT's blog with what she wanted out there to be read. Come to think of it, all of the "formers" fueled JT's blog. It sure didn't help them. If anything, it hurt them. Now poor JT is all alone.
