Wicomico County Board Of Ed Reopens Access To Salisbury News

"Joe,

I am at work on my lunch shift now and am able to access your blog. BTW I am so happy Sox got a great home!! BOE is allowing access. Hope this helps a little...."

This is great news. For one, anyone who denies access to Salisbury News based on foul language can't argue that point any more. I think this is very healthy for all parties involved.

I need to make this statement from me to the BOE, Thank You. If only Barrie Tilghman and PRMC would be so open minded. Times are a changing and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Joe please stop the scorched earth campaign against PRMC. I have worked there for over 20 years as a nurse and given my heart and soul to be the best nurse possible. The hours are long and hard and my shoulder neck and knees have pain the price for years of standing and hauling on patients that outweigh me twice over. PRMC is certainly not perfect, they have made alot of boneheaded policies that I don't agree with . PRMC has done many positive things that never get talked about. I would like for you to give Peggy Naleppa a chance, she was a nurse which to me counts for alot, unlike the last few male CEO's. But your constant denigration of PRMC and all associated with it is frustrating and hurtful. The nurses I work with are compassionate and hardworking, we receive nearly 100% positive approval from our patients via satisfaction survey. Please stop bashing us, we work hard and give our hearts to our patients. Your information about the situation that led to the hospital choosing another anesthesia provider has not been true or fair either. I would not encourage anyone to become a nurse or physician, everyone expects perfection from you with little thanks or appreciation when you do the best job possible. Patients expect doctors to undo years of bad health practices (diet, smoking no exercise etc.) and are surprised when they are told the reality of their own actions. I have been a loyal supporter of your blog and share may of the same political leanings and am disappointed in the one-sided information that is presented here.

There is virtually no internet access available to PRMC employees, and rightly so. Have you checked the amount of money that is lost in employee productivity because of inappropriate internet surfing during work hours? No one that has direct hands on patient care duties should be browsing the internet during work hours, and FYI I am not a PRMC troll, just someone who believes in accountability and hard honest work.

anonymous 3:12,

I am not knocking PRMC. Please read my Post again. I would like to have an open lone of communication with PRMC. No one is knocking them.

Ill knock them, they screwed the doctors over a power play. Now all those doctors will have to up-root and sell their homes in the worst market i remember and the city loses people who are exactly the type of people your community should want. Knock,Knock...Whos there...
