PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS!
You should be alert during the next few days. Do not open any message with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD FROM HALLMARK,' regardless of who sent it to you. It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer. This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list. This is the reason why you need to let all your contacts know about this. It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.
If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediately.
This is the worst virus announced by CNN. It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.
COPY THIS, AND SEND IT TO YOUR FRIENDS. REMEMBER: IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US
Editors Note: While this message has been going around for quite some time, it's always a good thing to be reminded as it is circulating in low volume currently. You just don't want to get hit with it andnow you've been warned, again.

This virus alert links to a snope article saying exactly the opposite of the post, that it will not burn a hole in the hard drive etc...but it does say avoid opening these ecards just in case, go to the card website.
Looks like it is a hoax!

Thanks,

I believe the point here is, SHOULD you get an e-mail with anything having to do with Halmark in the next few weeks, you might want to read what this has to say first before you open it.
For anyone out there thinking of sending me an e-card from any place at all, I do not open them. I just received one yesterday and threw it in the trash.
No disrespect to the people sending them. I just refuse to take the chance.
Not sure, however I've had 3 McAfee updates in three days and that is unusual. Since I moved to comcast I haven't had one piece of spam and that is with no restrictions or blocked e-mail.
I used to get a ton of spam from AOL, so much I had to block everything except the names in my address book. No, before you say it, I am not an employee, stock holder or representitive for Comcast.
I had to call twice, once when I got my new computer, just needed to reset modem, then a second time when I got HDTV and got someone on the phone that could speak perfect english within two minutes each time.
