Salisbury Police Officers have had enough. Their Chiefy has made a fool out of them by suing me, a local Blogger, for calling him Chief Jack & Coke. Well, I wasn't the one who started calling him that name but that's OK, I'll resolve that one in Court. The big question is, will Snow Hill take these defecting Officers?

They are suing you? Seriously? What's up with that?
Only thing that I noticed from the picture is that the police officer is riding that bike on the sidewalk. Illegal!
Chief Jack & Coke? He is suing you over that??
I always wondered what all the hub-bub was about. Whatever happened to the saying, "sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me?"
Is he that thin-skinned?
ROFLMAO
Isn't truth an absolute defense to defamation claims?
Joe,
For those of us who just recently started paying attention, can you briefly give us the lowdown of what the lawsuit is about?
You'd have thought the DT would have provided some background, rather than acting as though everyone read their piece of crap every day.
Isn't it true that some time ago Chief Webster got drunk down at Seacrets and wrecked a city owned vehicle?
Lets see, drunk, in a bar, wrecks vehicle and is chief of police. Chief Jack n Coke seems appropriate to me. Everyone gets a nickname sometime in life. Suck it up chief it could be worse. It could be Chief Rum n Coke or Chief Apple Martini or Chief Coors Light.
Get over it. Not like anyone called you a Bassett Hound. Now that right there is funny, I don't care what anybody says.
Joe, Do I understand correctly? We have two drunks at the City helm-- Mayor Barrie and Chief Webster. Oh, I see two buddies. Joe, why don't you give both the address and telephone for the AA ?
It wouldn't be the first time i saw him drunk in public. he loves the bars, it sounds like he spends more time out than in Salisbury fighting crime. Crime has gone up since he came, check the stats people...demand a change. We need it.
Chief Webster doesn't drive drunk. He lets Mayor Barrie drive. Since we're losing Linens on Church Street, I wonder if the city can get a vodka or gin manufacturer to move in that spot. The Mayor could make them a good tax deal with a little home delivery to our two leaders.
I hope whoever is the next mayor of this town gets him out of that office
