Who Owns Station 16?

Not the City, that's for sure. If you look at the 1st document you can see the last sentence asks who owns the Station. After almost two weeks of waiting for an answer, you'd think by then SOMEONE could answer that question.

Then when I visited the new Fire Station I asked the Chief who owned the building and he replied, have your lawyer do a title search. Everyone is in denial. The reason I showed the last picture above was to show you what ALL properties owned by the City look like. They have City of Salisbury in the top line.

I believe the complication they've been having all along is the fact that when they changed over Station II back in the day from the Volunteers, they never thought Station 16 could be owned by the Volunteers. ROTFLMAO!

So now there's all this attention over this and once again this Mayor is ticked off. They were THIS CLOSE! Not this close, I'm talking THIS CLOSE, to getting away without anyone knowing they were in the process of having that Title changed without anyone knowing.

Here's another interesting thing. The numbers I show above are 4 years old. The program that was used is a 4 year old program, so today's numbers would be MUCH higher. $396,900.00 was the assessed value of that building 4 years ago! It just keeps digging deeper and deeper on this administration, doesn't it?

Oh well, it is what it is, once again! Now let's see if Gordo immediately gives the building away, back to the City? After all, isn't that what an a$$ kisser does anyway?

If my house has increased 30%, according to the State of MD. in the last 4 years and in the last 4 years I have a piece of property that just went from $46,000 to $98,500 according to the State, then why isn't Station 16 worth at least $800,000 and possibly $1 million on the open market?

What search engine are you using there? It looks nothing like the MD SDAT site.

Here is the official search results on Station 16.

And finally, here is the new building as listed in the SDAT database.

when this land / Firehouse, Station 16, were originally transfered to whom ever what did the deed say this was to be used for? What did the original deed state about the Nalor Street land / Firehouse usage there had to be? DO either piece of property revert back to the original owner?

The Zarina is going to be pissed. She needs to sell the firehouse to keep the City afloat. I bet when they find that the Volunteers own the building she threatens to hold them hostage until they give in.

On the new station, it's a lease/purchase arrangement. The city owns the land, but does it really own the improvements? Just who is the lease/purchase arrangement with???

No disrespect to the firefighters, but anymore, anything the DEPARTMENT (See, Gordy, powers that be) touches smells to high heaven.

I grew up with firefighters as my boyhood heroes, so this is very upsetting.

How odd - Salisbury Trust LLC, the former owner of the NEW fire house property, did not file their paperwork for 2006, and the LLC has been forfeited.

THE ENTITY WAS FORFEITED FOR FAILURE TO FILE PROPERTY RETURN FOR 2006.

It will be very interesting to see how the ownership of this plays out. If it is found to be owned by the volunteers I would like to know 1. What do they propose to do with their building and 2. How is the city going to try to steal it from them?

If that property belongs to the vollies THEY should sell it and keep the proceeds to purchase whatever equipment they might need. They should also, find a way to keep Bill Gordy and David Sees hands off their money. Hire a GOOD attorney, not in cahoots with Gordy, Comegys, Tilghman, See or anyone else. Let that attorney act as the executor of their funds.

Salisbury makes me sick.

I have been trying to find a state site for DE like the one above for MD. Anyone know where I can find property records for DE?
Thanks.

6:32 --> In Delaware, you access the tax information from the county web sites.

Click here for name search in Sussex county.

In Kent county, you use the Pride system to find specific tax and property information.

Hope these links help.

Gordy will get the money you just hide and watch. And just how fast can he piss this away?

If the vollies get the law firm that is representing Tilghman and Webster in their law cases against Joe Albero, then you know that the fix is in.

In a sense Salisbury has it's own Mafia. Between the witch and the flying monkeys along with the slum lords make quit a gang.
