On January 1, 2008 at approximately 1:31 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department responded to the 500 block of East Lincoln Avenue, Salisbury for a report of a fight involving several subjects with baseball bats. Upon arrival, officers observed a male subject waving a metal bat in an aggressive matter towards another male subject. Officers ordered all subjects to the ground and detained them until additional units arrived.

On January 2, 2008 at approximately 12:05 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department arrested a male subject for operating a vehicle while his driving privileges are suspended. A search incident to arrest, officers located a baggie of suspected marijuana in the subjects sock. Officers also recovered suspected marijuana from the vehicle.

On January 3, 2008 at approximately 5:25 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Wal-Mart store on North Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival, the officer learned that the below listed suspect attempted to take several DVDs, television cable and personal hygiene items without making payment.

On December 6, 2007 Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call in reference to an assault against a child. After meeting with the victim it was determined that the below listed suspect had assaulted the victim with a belt.

How about the daily stabbings & gunshot wounds "cases" arriving at ER, who reports on them?
shhhh.... it's our city's dirty little secret. If it gets out no one will pay 1/2 Mil to inhabit those fancy appartments at the foot of gangs' land.
I wonder if handgun purchases have increased due to the rising crime in Salisbury. Anywhere to get stats on that?
