A Hero's Welcome Home Part I

As Family, Friends and Admirers gathered to welcome home Clay Groton from Iraq, the Wicomico County Airport was packed with people excited to welcome this young man home.

Each and every time our local hero's come home the crowds grow more and more and its the type of reception these young men and women deserve. More to come.......

Yes, it's a good thing a lot of folks are out for these guys and gals returning from the war zones.
I remember how disappointed we all were returning from the Korea War and all there was were a six man band of sailors playing "California Here I Come" at the harbor in Frisco.

For the hard hearted soul that will not support anything Albero does, YOU should have been there to see the smiles, happiness and tears. I would hope this kind of reception by We Care, Legion, friends, neighbors and complete strangers would have changed you mind. Speaking of tears, did anyone notice the teary eyed Veterans?????

Nope I will never ever support ANYTHING that Joe Albero has a part of!

He's the scum of the earth!

Oh Barrie, just put it aside for a minute or two and enjoy the moment.

And thanks to the Sheriff's Dept (including Sheriff Lewis and his family), City Police Officer and Fire Dept. and all those wonderful folks who took their time out on a Sunday (and on short notice) to show up for 1st Lt. Groton. Words are simply inadequate to explain how great it is to be there as the family and the community welcome one of their own safely back home.

I couldn't make it but I saw my sister inlaw in one of the pictures holding the same banner I was holding at Trailways. She wanted to get involved, so I forwarded Lady Kent's e-mail and she did her part. Thanks Nanci : )

What a great show of respect with such short notice, I'm really happy to see that many people made it on the wing. Getting this to snowball is just what the DR ordered. One person telling another and it is something that really makes you feel good.

Also an honor, great job people~!!
