Lynn Cathcart Goes Nuts!
Catch it here! If you didn't see it on PAC 14, click on this link and once again let sbynews take you there. Even if you're on dial up, this is a short download and you can see her yelling at Tim Chaney. Despickable!
"Suppose all the development tracts in this area had been developed with existing infrastructure. Neighborhood residents would all be complaining about traffic through their existing neighborhoods."
I think ya just made a case fer why this road is valuable t'the developer.
I hear ya on the City folk droppin' the pigskin here, but part o' the problem is, it ain't just this project that needs a-doin' and is gettin' done without us current folk seein' any more coins in the coffers.
Do ya live in the city? 'Causin' if'n ya do, yer gonna get t'carry the wallet weight of keepin' all those new development folks bein' happy campers with their traffic situation.
Plus after last night, we gotta pay interest on another $5 million in debt.
But with all these new folk comin' in, what the heck do they care 'bout ole dogs like me already here? I ain't nothin' but a wallet to them until the new folk're here, and then they'll be hopin' I kick the bucket.
Sorry, folks. In respondin' to Imkurius, the ole dog just realized what's really goin' on here and the tail is definitely droopin' now.
That's why some of us live outside the City and a select few of us are smart enough to be in a tax free State within miles of Salisbury and are looking in from the outside and saying, why would anyone be proud os a City such as Salisbury? It's one scam after another. Might I also add, there were statements made last night in which our children and our grandchildren will be paying for the SHIT that the Dream Team agreed upon. Get them out while the gettin is good! If not for your own self satisfaction but for your children and grandchildren!
