Salisbury Fire Department Rescue Vehicle Sinks On New Property!
It's true Folks! When they had the ground breaking ceremony they parked a Rescue Vehicle there and within minutes the Unit had sunk into the ground so badly they had to hire one of those huge wreckers to come out and bail them out!
You didn't read a word of this in the Daily Times, even though they were there to cover the event. Barrie Tilghman and her Flying Monkey's have to be looking like huge fools right about now. It got covered up for a short period of time but the control by scaring people over all these years has finally worn off and everyone is now letting the cat out of the bag about anything and everything.
The pictures above clearly show where the Unit sunk and they used some of the dirt they brought in to make it look like there was dirt on the property, (other than the sludge muck that's actually in the ground there) to fill in the holes where the vehicle sunk. Nice try Barrie! LMAO!

Actually, it may not be an engineering disaster IF the city is willing to pay for pilings deep enough to hit good soil. The problem with the "leaning condo" is that the pilings aren't deep enough and the building is settling. A good geotechnical report should state where the test piles stopped their movement even after repeated hammer blows.
This is the firehouse Dunn said he didn't know we could afford or not?
And the lady finance person is sayin' we're gonna borrow money to pay the interest on the money we're borrowin' t'build it?
Wonder how many millions more in change orders we're gonna be a payin' on it?
Yeah, they'll be outta office drinkin' martinis, allright...livin' outside o' the city so they don't have t'pay fer it.
Wonder how much more damage they're gonna do before they're outta office? And I sure hope that's in 6 months.
Dang it all! Don't get me wrong. Ya'll know I'm up fer takin' care of the police and fire and EMS folks. But the size of all this stuff in money stacks is scarin' the bejabbers outta me.
