Seems to me that he's just shifted the problem from him to us. Instead of HVB "shaking [his] head in disgust" at the comments, we are left shaking our collective heads in disgust at the radical comments HVB makes, knowing full well that a well-written but highly inflammatory comment will never be posted.
Most folks won't even bother to try, rather than be subjected to the indignity and wasted time.
HVB really had something going there, generating real energy and momentum...what a shame.
Joe - my suggestion to you would be to provide a public service. Each day, simply leave an open post with a similar title as HVB, perhaps with a link to his original post. If people care to comment without being subjected to HVB's censorship, they can do it over here. Just my $0.02...
Now we can address you directly via comments and thats nicer. Could you let us know what your going to focus the subject matter of this blog on? Just curious.
My opinion is that all bloggers are probably Bi-polar anyway, so if you can't take the prozac with the hangover then you should not have a blog site! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I miss sitting there rolling my eyes at some of the comments. BUT post responses are way more on-topic, and in the couple days since he turned on moderation, I haven't seen any personal attacks.
I'm sorry, I didn't see the rules written down anywhere, and if what you are saying here is the correct blog protocol then I also don't seem to be able to find anything in the initial question posed by Joe that asks for comments on blog protocols. Soooooo that makes your comment here as pitifully off line as the rest of us poor ignorant graduates of the public school system.
There seemed to be two parts to Joe's post. I was responding to the first part: "What does everyone think about Hadley censoring his Justice For All? Blog Site?"
My previous post pretty much says what I think about the moderation of JFA.
