Former President George W. Bush is a “brahmin Yankee from Yale” who is “pretending he’s a Texan,” Breitbart News Executive Chairman and former White House Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon told the American families of illegal alien crime victims.
During a speech at the Remembrance Project conference, an organization that represents the illegal alien crime victims’ families, Bannon blasted the Bush dynasty, calling out President George W. Bush specifically on his lack of leadership on the issue of illegal and legal immigration.
“You want to know why I detest the elites of the Republican Party,” Bannon said. “Where were they? Where is Jeb Bush? Where were all these guys? Bush… Bush… Old man Bush – and the son today got a book out, you know. ‘The demise of the Republican Party, this Republican Party is falling apart. Donald Trump’s destroyed the Republican Party.’ You know why? Because finally folks like you have a say-so.”
On George W. Bush, Bannon said:
While’s he’s up in Kennebunkport or wherever they are. You know the other guy down there pretending he’s a Texan. You can’t take a brahmin Yankee from Yale and take him down to Texas to make a cowboy out of him. I don’t care how long you wear the boots, brother. You’re a Yankee brahmin, okay.

Barack Obama Touts Gun Control After Texas Church Massacre
Former President Barack Obama wasted little time before calling for gun control after 26 people were killed in a church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Sunday afternoon, he expressed his condolences and immediately politicized the tragedy.
"We grieve with all the families in Sutherland Springs harmed by this act of hatred, and we'll stand with the survivors as they recover..." Obama tweeted, beginning his statement innocently. Then, he switched gears. "May God also grant all of us the wisdom to ask what concrete steps we can take to reduce the violence and weaponry in our midst."

House Freedom Caucus Gets Ball Rolling to End 'Diversity' Visa Lottery
The Diversity Visa Lottery may be one step closer to ending Monday with a vote of the membership of the House Freedom Caucus.
The lottery is an offshoot of a 1980s Ted Kennedy brainchild that brings 50,000 migrants a year into the United States for no reason other than there not being large numbers of people from their country here.
Ongoing efforts to end the visa lottery gained a new urgency when it became clear Uzbekistan-born New York City truck terror suspect Sayfullo Saipov used the program to enter, get his green card, and then use the “chain migration” policies of the 1965 Immigration Act to serve as the “primary point of contact” for 23 additional people.
The SAFE Act, introduced in February by Freedom Caucus member Rep. Bill Posey (R-FL), would cleanly eliminate the lottery. Monday night, his three dozen fellow caucus members voted to back the bill. The Freedom Caucus issued a statement following the vote that read:

TX AG: 'I would rather arm law-abiding citizens’ than Pass Gun Control Laws
Ken Paxton defends Second Amendment in wake of tragedy
It would be more practical to arm law-abiding citizens than pass additional gun control laws, Texas’ attorney general said Monday.
Speaking to Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade regarding the devastating massacre of dozens of parishioners inside a Baptist church in Texas, Attorney General Ken Paxton rejected the left’s natural inclination to demonize firearms in the wake of the tragedy.

REPORT: Top Dem Lawyer, Clinton Donor Helped Weinstein Suppress Accusations With ‘Army Of Spies’
A top Democratic lawyer and major donor to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama helped Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein organize an “army of spies” to suppress sexual assault accusations, according to a new report in the New Yorker.
David Boies acted as a go-between for Weinstein — who has his own ties to both Clinton and Obama — and the investigative firms that Boies hired to suppress sexual assault accusations, Ronan Farrow reported in the explosive piece.
Boies “personally signed” a contract ordering investigative firm Black Cube — described as “an enterprise run largely by former officers of Mossad and other Israeli intelligence agencies” — to suppress a New York Times report on sexual assault accusations against Weinstein, according to Farrow’s report.

Bannon: George W. Bush Was 'Single Most Destructive President in U.S. History, Including James Buchanan'
On Breitbart News Sunday with SiriusXM hosts Joel Pollak and Rebecca Mansour, Breitbart News Executive Chairman Steve Bannon was sharply critical of the Bush family, referring to them as “the last Whigs” because “the Republican Party that they talked about is essentially over.”
Bannon was referring to the Bush presidents attacking President Donald Trump in a new book, The Last Republicans: Inside the Extraordinary Relationship Between George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush by historian Mark Updegrove.
“Listen, I try to be bad cop to President Trump’s good cop. He’s head of the Republican Party. He tries to stay above the fray. Hopefully I’m there to do the dirty work as his wingman,” Bannon said.
“What are we talking about? This party is a party made up of workers. It’s made up of American workers. It’s made of the American middle class. It’s got to represent not just their values, but their interests, and it doesn’t. The donors, the conservative consultants, the lobbyists, and the politicians they bought in the Republican Party don’t represent their interests at all. It’s quite shocking,” he contended.

McCain Linked to Russian Oligarch in Mueller's Probe
Manafort, McCain, and Bob Dole all tied to Oleg Deripaska
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Before Special Counselor Mueller hinges his investigation on emails Paul Manafort sent to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, a billionaire aluminum magnet, he should investigate former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole’s ties to Deripaska in 2005, after Dole lost his presidential bid to Bill Clinton in 1996, and Sen. John McCain’s ties to Deripaska in 2006, when McCain was preparing to run for president.
Deripaska, often cited as one of Russia’s most wealthy billionaires, established his political credentials by marrying the granddaughter of Russia’s late President Boris Yeltsin in 2001, about a year after Russian President Putin signed a decree granting legal immunity to Yeltsin’s family.
A staunch supporter of Putin, Deripaska built his fortune as an aluminum magnet, using the immunity and power he derived from marrying Yeltsin’s granddaughter to leverage Moscow’s organized crime mafia into supporting business deals favorable to Moscow both in Russia and in Eastern European countries that were part of the former Soviet Union.

Trump: Texas Shooting 'Isn't a Guns Situation,' But Mental Health Issue
At a joint news conference with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Japan today, President Trump said the Texas church mass shooting "isn't a guns situation" but a question of mental health.
Devin Kelley, 26, opened fire Sunday morning on the congregation at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, killing 26 before being stopped by an armed neighbor. Authorities said he had multiple firearms and was wearing tactical gear.
Kelley was court-martialed in 2012 on charges of assaulting his wife and child. That marriage ended in divorce. He received a bad conduct discharge from the Air Force in 2014, the same year that he remarried.
Two of Kelley's ex-girlfriends told NBC News that he became violent or stalked them after they broke off the relationship.

In her book, Brazile said the 2016 process for choosing the eventual Democratic presidential nominee, which was Hillary Clinton, was rigged.
McAuliffe’s reaction was “nobody cares,” and he attempted to steer the conversation to tomorrow’s gubernatorial election in Virginia.

Paul Attacker: Assault Not About Politics
The socialist man who assaulted Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul on Friday — leaving Paul with five broken ribs — released a statement through his lawyer insisting the assault had “nothing to do” with politics.
Rene Boucher, a 59-year-old retired anesthesiologist, who lives next door to Paul, faces charges of fourth-degree assault for tackling the senator as he mowed his lawn. Paul suffered lung contusions as a result of the broken ribs, his office said. Boucher was ordered to remain 1,000 feet away from Paul and his family, except while in his house, as a condition for bail, according to a copy of the citation reviewed by The Daily Caller.
Paul’s neighbors said the assault was the result of a landscaping dispute, the New York Times reported. “They just couldn’t get along. I think it had very little to do with Democrat or Republican politics,” neighbor Jim Skaggs told the NYT. “I think it was a neighbor-to-neighbor thing. They just both had strong opinions, and a little different ones about what property rights mean.”

Police: Berks County Man Kills Woman After Failed Marriage Proposal
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A 34-year-old Berks County man is accused of killing a 19-year-old girl earlier this week after she told him “no” when he asked her to marry him.
Christopher Ryan Tucker, 34, of Albany Township, allegedly confessed to the crime when he was arrested in Illinois Wednesday night.
Authorities say Tucker fled Pennsylvania after committing the murder earlier this week. His car broke down in Illinois and authorities say he then attempted to steal a motorized combine from a farm. The farmer was on the property and called authorities.
After being arrested in Illinois, Tucker was reportedly the one who alerted authorities there had been a heinous crime committed at his home in Albany Township, Pennsylvania.
“What our troopers found when they got there was very gruesome,” said Trooper David Beohm, with the Pennsylvania State Police.

Wicomico County States Attorney Ella Disharoon Has Resigned Her Position
Good afternoon,
As many of you know, after much thought and prayer, I made the decision not to run in the 2018 election for State’s Attorney. I was recently offered a new opportunity and have decided to accept the position.
My years with the Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office have been some of the best of my life. I will miss all of the incredible people I have had the pleasure of working with throughout the years.
I cannot thank this community enough for all of the opportunities and experiences I have been provided during my time with this office. I have gained so much from my career in this County over the past 14 years.
Sincerely,

Trump: DOJ must do 'what is right and proper' and investigate Hillary Clinton
President Trump opened up on Democrats with both Twitter barrels from high in the sky Friday, exploiting fractures in the rival party after top operative Donna Brazile revealed insiders plotted to steal last year's presidential primary from Bernie Sanders.
"Bernie Sanders supporters have every right to be apoplectic of the complete theft of the Dem primary by Crooked Hillary!" Trump tweeted from Air Force One, as he headed off on a 13-day tour of Asian nations.
It was part of a mid-morning Twitter barrage in which Trump called for his own Justice Department to probe a range of scandals involving the Democratic Party and his own Justice Department to probe a range of scandals involving the Democratic Party and his vanquished 2016 presidential rival, Hillary Clinton.
“Everybody is asking why the Justice Department (and FBI) isn’t looking into all of the dishonesty going on with Crooked Hillary & the Dems,” Trump tweeted early Friday. “New Donna B book says she paid for and stole the Dem Primary. What about the deleted E-mails, Uranium, Podesta, the Server, plus, plus…”
